Gimme 10 minutes. I just lost power for like two hours, which kinda delayed the process. I ended up rolling the Star Forge though, which is going to be pretty cool.

The Star Forge does sound pretty awesome. Can't wait to see what Paladin turns out to be.

I edited my character post to add the list of White Kitsune's present contrivances. Also if we ever have to fight against a Hydrokinetic this isn't going to go well... there are such things as waterproof paper thought so if given the chance to prepare everything should be cool...

White Kitsune's contrivances looks pretty interesting and worthy of any true contriver. Can't wait to see them in action.

Real Name: Walter Black
Codename: Paladin
Theme: Cleansing Fire
Metahuman Links: 85 Roll:Significant metahuman links-1d6 links: 3 Roll -3 Links Roll 48: Tier Paragon. Star Chart: 42 Roll: Star Type M
Roll 92: Tier God. Star Chart: 89 Roll: Star Type O +1 Tier, capped at God Tier.
Roll 11: Tier Exemplar. Star Chart: 7 Roll: Dying Star: 54 Roll. Failed star, -2 Tiers, capped at Exemplar.
Metahuman Relations: 1 Is a parent, 2 and 3 are older siblings who manifested. One had an overabundance of of power and went insane, the other had a broken, stunted power and went slightly less insane. Both are childlike and have a difficult time focusing on anything. All three powers are gadgeteer abilities, 1 spends it’s time taking care of 2 and 3 and making sure they don’t blow up the world or anything. 1’s spouse runs a company that sells the inventions. 2’s focus: biology. 3’s focus: weaponized genetic manipulation. 1’s focus: defense systems.
Background: Grew up in a loving household. When character was young however, the parent’s focus shifted to 2 and 3 and the character was mostly left to fend for itself. Conflicted personality, the character loves it’s family, but also resents them on some level. Kept isolated and alone from 2 and 3 so the character wouldn't get hurt. Parents never had much time for the character.
Manifestation type: 87 Roll- Near Death Manifestation.+1 Dream, +1 Nightmare, +75% DV
25% Chance of Adonis.
Manifestation scenario: Late teenager, tried to sneak into the family’s compound (because he's bored, lonely, and slightly desperate for attention) where 2 and 3 live, safe behind 1’s defenses. Character breaks in, makes his way past defenses. Gets attacked and nearly killed by 2 and 3’s monstrosities. Manifests just before the character is killed, but after severe injury. No one else is present, but the effects of 1, 2, and 3 are present and surrounding the character.
Type: 78 Roll: Multiple Powers: 21 Roll: 3 Powers.
Roll for Adonis (roll 1-75) 1d100: 14 Roll.
Tier Rolls:
Power 1: 21 Roll - Exemplar Tier Level: 7 Roll: Exemplar 1
Power 2: 60 Roll - Paragon Tier Level: 32 Roll: Paragon 4
Power 3: Adonis-Physique-56 Roll: Paragon Tier
Star Chart: 96 Roll: Roll on Living Star Chart - 86 Roll: Star Forge
Your power is unformed, in its infancy. Reduce your Tier to Exemplar and your level to 1. You start out with 1 Dream and 1 Nightmare. At appropriate points of your character’s development, your power grows and grows. First the level grows, then it jumps up a Tier, and so on. If you survive long enough, challenge your power often and strongly enough, you can reach the very top, but you need greater and greater challenges to ascend further. Every time you rise a level, you get a dream and you have a 50-50 chance of gaining a nightmare, too; every time you jump from one Tier to the next you reroll against the new DV you have accumulated to determine if your Derangement Grade rises. Every time your power rises by a Tier, there is a 10% chance that it will become alive and sentient, much like the Quasar roll.
Current Power Levels:
Paragon 4
Paragon 4
Apex 7
Dreams (3)(+3 for level increase)
27 Roll: Flying - Your power is easily controlled. Even if it would normally be brute, you can use it even for fine tasks. DV - 10%
12 Roll: Freedom- Has the potential to Swan Song.
6 Roll: Power- Your power is just stronger than most. DV+5%
36 Roll: Yourself - Your power changes and improves your body.
One of your powers is the Physique Power. If you have no Physique, you gain it at Level 1, if you already have it, it rises by one Tier. You benefit from the Adonis Trait.
If you roll this more than once, you become more and more beautiful (add the DV modifier again and increase the Tier)
- Paladin's Physique is now Adonis 7 Apex.
Nightmares(1+2 for level increases)
23 Roll: Discord- Your power does not play well with others. It is all but impossible for you to heterodyne it with others, and just using your power around others may disrupt their own powers in minor ways. DV + 20%
26 Roll: A Fall-You lack control over your power. DV + 15%
14 Roll: The Dead - Your power has a high risk of collateral damage or it is hard to use in non-lethal ways.
Powerset: Paladin generates and manipulates a blue-white flame he thinks of as ‘purefire’. The fire is unusual because it does not affect normal matter. The purefire can only burn gadgets, contrivances (see Discord Nightmare, and the flames permanently damage them), and evil or corrupted things/people. The flames heal and bolster people who are good or morally upstanding, while inspiring fear in criminals. He can also manipulate the flames with extreme ease, directing it and shaping it with great skill (see Flying Dream), but cannot control the intensity of the purefire(see Fall Nightmare). Paladin is also an Adonis; tall, brown hair, well-muscled, handsome. His Apex-Tier Physique grants Paladin extremely handsome features, super speed, super strength, enhanced toughness (essentially bulletproof except for very high calibers). Paladin wears a silver set of lightweight armor. Purefire protects Paladin from Perception/Control/Meta powers while in use. At a certain point, the healing/burning/breaking effects will occur within range of the purefire, and not direct exposure. The purefire's effects are based on what Paladin thinks and perceives, not necessarily the actual moral compass of the target.
Powerset(with Star Forge alteration: Level 4): Direct exposure to the flames will cause gadgets and contrivances to break. The fear is a general sense of unease and worry, and the bolstering a sense of noticeable purpose and a slight sense of trustworthiness. Cannot heal anything more than flesh wounds and minor skeletal cracks and fractures. Flames burn and can seriously hurt evildoers. Adonis ability gives good looks and health, and superhuman reflexes, speed, strength, and toughness. Bulletproof, can punch through bricks, etc. The purefire protects Paladin from many minor or two major Perception/Control/Meta powers while in use. Paladin no longer has control over his purefire's intensity and it burns/effects at maximum overdrive. Using the power on a normal person (who's evil) has a high chance of burning them significantly, hard not to kill if he isn't careful.
Ratings: Damage: 4/Control: 4/Protection: 4/Adonis: 7
Derangement Calculation: +75%(Manifestation) -15%(Links)-10%(Dreams)+20%(Nightmares)+2%(Tiers)+5%(Damage)-10%(Adonis)-15%(Protection)+25%(Control) = 77-Split into 75 and 2.
Derangement Grade: 7 Roll. 13 Roll. Derangement Grade 1. Paladin has an uncompromising attitude of hatred towards criminals and evil in general. He is willing to do whatever it takes to stop them, including killing or breaking the law if necessary (in his mind, he is just doing what is required to stop the greater evil).
Stats: Physical 7. Mental: 5. Social: 6.
Currently 19 years old.

Oh and I'm not entirely sure if I calculated the Derangements correctly, so if somebody could check that over, I'd appreciate it.

Paladin is an interesting character even if it seems like his powers won't get along with those of White Kitsune's. His derangement looks good and fits the character so it doesn't really matter if it is the rolls weren't technically correct. As Game Master, I declare the mental derangements of Paladin to be fit and proper!

AceOfSpade What is White Kitsune's stance on killing. Paladin has no trouble if it serves the greater good and David will end a life without a second thought if proves necessary to protect his loves ones. Allison doesn't like it, but her lack of control of her power might remove her choice in the matter.

He didn't think about it before he started going out as a vigilante, he mostly try to capture criminals but he'll kill without a second thought if he ever see someone do something horrible enough (killing innocents, torture, rape). He didn't prepare any lethal contrivance thought but that will be corrected after the first time.

Seems like we got a bunch of go-gooders without any qualms on killing if necessary. Grendel will have his hands full (David alone can fight him to a standstill without much difficulty and Paladin and/or White Kitsune could easily turn the battle against the supervillain). If he wasn't such a monster, I would feel sorry for the poor guy.

I don't know about that. Since vigilantism is illegal, and one of the Brock Siblings and maybe White Kitsune (age?) are under the legal age, Paladin will be required to either recruit or arrest them. Yes, he may join forces if Grendel shows up, but that doesn't change the fact that he will do everything in his power to bring them in, one way or another.

I know and while Paladin might be able to best White Kitsune, I honestly feel a God-Tier metahuman is more than just a bit out of his league. And David isn't exactly about to do anything that doesn't help protect his family (joining the UH means that he won't be able to focus all of his attention on keeping them safe). Arresting him or his sister is pretty much out of the question for Paladin as is threatening them. But then again, both of their power levels and derangements are pretty much unknown (All they know about is Allison's Adonis and David's change of mental state and refusal to go to school). As for teaming up against Grendel, the supervillain pretty much kills any other metahuman and since Paladin is metahuman and in town... As for White Kitsune, I can't really speak for him (He is AceOfSpade's character).
