It's a Turn! It's a Six! It's a Turn Number Six!
There's so much to keep track of that I've moved to a more "summary" form of summation, so let me know what you think! Items I think you might find important are highlighted in pink, although not all of them will require action and attention from the Founders. Turn 7 will cover all of Spring Semester, so plan accordingly. (Also I know I have to build Sir Alter's rooms still, sorry about that) *Maddi rushes off to work on the next thing*

Letter from a Prince:
Alter uses the security system to call a meeting of the founders in response to the letter from Marcus Kendal. When he sees the others have arrived he exits his office and storms into the room, using a blast of magic to throw open the doors. As the others reacted to his dramatic entrance they were treated to the sight of a pair of eyes glowing like hellfire. The flames that composed Sir Alter's hair, usually a comfortable, mildly warm yellow are blazing white hot at their core grading through blue and edged with angry red and orange. His skin seemed to radiate heat
Striding across the floor, his boots striking sparks as he moved, he used a blast of force to slam the letter into Gabriel Tempest's chest.
"Read it!" He snapped, the glow in his eyes shading to a darker, more ominous burn "See the results of your actions! See what your ego has wrought!"
As he'd been speaking, the wards and runes inscribed in the walls of the room had been glowing in sympathy with the anger in his voice. The pattern of flames on his robe was shifting, almost as if the flames were trying to jump from the fabric and the fabric itself was billowing with an unseen wind.
"We started this school on a foundation of teamwork-the Lady excepted- and cooperation. An action so BRUTAL as to wipe the minds of our students should not have been undertaken without the unanimous decision of us all! And even if we had done so, to force them to pay the full four year fee was an act of barbaric, profiteering, self-serving lunacy!!" His voice was echoing in the conference room and the flames of his body were growing, the rune-wards now blazing with light.
He finally turned to face the other founders, many of whom were staring at him, apparently stunned at his vehemence"I hope you all can live with yourselves when the school is attacked by scions of the ancient powers."
On that ominous note he stormed from the room, his path marked by flaming footprints and the door glowing with heat as it slammed magically behind him.
That night observant figures watching the school grounds from their windows may have noticed a short, glowing, steaming figure striding towards the ocean and the subsequent pillar of blue fire and super-hot steam that erupted as his burning anger was vented into the ocean's implacable depths. A few students swore the next day at breakfast that the water itself had appeared to catch fire... When they glanced in the direction of the founders' table they met the eyes of Sir Alter, his ominous glowing orbs holding their gaze almost hypnotically before he broke the contact with a grim, satisfied smile and the smallest of nods.
Religious Acceptance:
Alter recognises the significance of the rains, obviously Calistria is unhappy with the lack of religious acceptance in the school. Whose stupid idea was it to piss off a goddess of vengeance? His mood, already soured by the issue of the expelled students, takes another turn for the worse due to his opinion once again being cast aside. He ponders the issue then contacts Pater Calahasil for a private meeting.
The topic of the discussion is the request for being allowed time for private prayer, Alter is perfectly happy for that request to be granted and would be happy to help Pater gather support amongst the others for a less restricted position on religion (particularly if it will help with the rain - which he hates because it makes his hair steam).
Studystorms:
Still pissed at Gabriel due to the mindwipe, Alter creates a slip of paper that tells the students when Gabriel is in the library and makes sure they stumble onto and understand how it works.
Sponsors:
Accept both the Golem Community's and Backlebrush Village's Offers after a thorough inspection (Physical and magical) of the terms of the sponsorship and of the institutions themselves (to ensure they aren't trying to pull something sneaky. Be sure to present it to them as routine security procedure so they don't get annoyed at us). If something is found that could be problematic, raise the point with them and if there is no adequate, reliably honest explanation or solution, politely decline the sponsorship.
Fae Rules:
... This may have been a terrible mistake...
Carefully read and analyse the documents. God I hope this doesn't bite us in the arse.
Null and Void:
Suggest that if anyone is to physically investigate an outsider it should be done, if not by Atticus, then at least in his presence. And perhaps, since the Lady's students are involved she should be present as well, to ensure no foul play.
Alter's Little Workshop of Horrors:
With the threat to the school from the expelled princeling, Alter doubles down on his attempts to improve the school's defenses, starting by ordering in books on the subject of the elder magics to analyse for what might need to be protected against. He also increases the number of rune-wards, counterspells etc. around the school, ensuring that any blindspots in the security system are removed and that weaker sections are brought up to the exacting standards he anticipates will be required.
Spring is in the Air:
Magical protections against hayfever and other seasonal allergies (because intense sneezing and latent magic power should never be mixed). Ensure that magical containment is set up on the forest so that nothing spreads beyond its boundaries that hasn't been authorised by the whole Founders' Council. Alter will probably spend most of his time leading up to the spring semester researching (see above) and preparing the school for possible attack (attack in any fashion, not just magical).

Oh hey. I have Interns. Where'd you guys come from?
One day while tinkering with spells in his workshop Alter gets a visit from the two interns assigned to him. It takes them a while to catch his attention, during which they hear him mumbling a bunch of magical techno-babble as he adjusts designs and ponders parts he could use.
finally one of the Interns (Emio) uses a quick illumination cantrip to grasp Sir Alter's attention. "Excuse me sir, we were wondering if you had any jobs for us to do, you haven't given us any instructions for a while and we felt bad getting paid when we were just guessing what we should be doing."
It takes Alter a moment to remember who they are, then he replies "I'm sorry Emio, Naqiyya, I have been lax in my instruction, please, take a seat." He gestures to some chairs near his desk before walking over to a bookshelf and tapping it in a complex pattern causing a section to slide back, revealing a hidden compartment from which he draws a sheet of paper which he hands to Emio. "Please set about procuring the tomes on this list, you may need to enlist the services of Regina for some of the rarer volumes"
Emio looked down the list and handed it to his sibling, his eyes wide with shock. The expression was mirrored by Naqiyya moments later.
"whenever you find a volume use this to contact me" He hands Emio a small gargoyle, that clambers onto the shocked intern's shoulder. "Merely speak my name in its ear and-" He produced an identical gargoyle and placed it on his desk "-his brother will relay the information to me. I will respond with further instructions and details of payment as required."
With that he returned to his workbench, leaving Emio to stare at a page full of titles to make many an arcane master pause for second thoughts. This was going to be a tough job.

Letter from the prince: we shall not bow nor apologise to the prince. Temporal power should not negate consequences. He made his choice. Let him come. With what is left of his magical might, we have little to fear. The things he could bargain with on the other hand could be an issue. Keep an eye on the situation.
Pray together: they may pray in their room. no summoning rites, nor rituals that would be better suited to church.
Rain: Pater, this is the work of his divine bitch. make him stop it. if he doesn't or the rains continue. destroy the consecrated land within our school, thus excising her influence within our wards.
StudyStorms: offer them further support. Groups like this, that prize learning, should be nurtured.
Sponsors: we are non partisan. Taking students due to affiliation is wrong. We will allow all to take the test.like any other students. The village seems to be a simple deal, look into it. nothing is ever so simple.
The village: don't spend the money. Make it known that we would be happy to host a village on our grounds. the space is there to be used after all. people will come or not.
Personal actions: Industry. A spell engine. The well has settled. its time for the heartstone to be laid. the rare ingredients were hard to find but well worth the effort. in a purely non magical way the heartstone is crafted. a simple gem that is entirely unremarkable. ready to receive its blueprint spells. The other founders may pick a spell that the heartstone can hold.
The interference of the goddess has gabriel near frothing at the mouth. Its time to consult the books and the warding experts. Some of the founders have skills in those departments. There must be a way to make each act cost more than they are worth in divine energy. Maybe the rewards could drain her when she acts.

The letter of the Prince ( Presented by Alter) : Pater Calahasil defends his - and Gabriels - position. Not quite when Alter is sparkingly angry, but when he seeks the discussion with him concerning the curse of his goddess. " While i agree with you in that this school stands for teamwork and cooperation, we also have to enforce strict rules, of the mighty of more then one realm might see us as a danger.
Religious Acceptance : The Pater agrees with Alter. He suspects it will get worse, if his goddes wish will not be granted and he cannot see anything wrong with the argument that the school IS the home of the students for the time they are studying. Thus he supports the students, and gladly helps the Members of the cult whenever they have questions, altho he *might* try to subtly influence them a little in these conversations, and without magic but only with words, to follow the teachings of Calistria he was taught. On the other side, he would like to hear their opinion and see their rites that differ from the official teachings of the church of Calistria.
Studystorms : * personal action ( since there is nothing to vote on) use my interns to find out who is in this group, and if there is a pattern. this shouldn't take to long and shouldn't distract them too much from their task to find out more about sentient magical life and the wellbeings since they can simply ask the Librarian or use the Spying Runes.
- Once he knows who is in this group, the Pater will cast a curse on the Area of the Library: whoever sees Garbriel, or thinks of him, while within the Library will experiance a short, sharp pain in the ass as long as he looks or thinks at/ of him. Once the victim looks away/ turns his attention away the pain will quickly fade away. The pain should be enough to distract and disrupt any train of thought and be noticeable even for inhuman beings, but not powerfull enough to actually cause harm or injurys, neither to the body, nor to the mind of the victim.
Ruling the Fae :
this is good. Suggest to the other founders to look at the Rules for loopholes and tricks and traps, and if there are no detecable ones Make sure to make copies of the short version for the next semester, then place some in the library and notify all students and all wouldbe-students in the next semester of them. in short: make the short version available for all students and would-be-students.
Filling the Void :
If there is no detecable influencing at work, let them be. Lust - and this totally overrated word " love" causes some weird behavior.
The well being of the Wellbeings. As before: the Pater will stay away from them, and make sure to always have magical protection if he needs to be in the same room as they are. Other then that, he is happy to hear they are unable to cast spells and use magic, but their very being might be enough to cause some trouble, so he will stick with his precaution.
healing tala : The Pater is happy to announce to the founders the healing of Tala, and is happy to anounce that Tala and the fae who hurt her are friends now. ( of course the Pater will investigate, if the fae made the friendship through the use of magic, but he will do it subtle. on the outside he will to as written above)
A heavenly letter : a heavenly letter found his way to him. he is happy to heave pleased his goddess, and sends a note to his old teachers with a copy. The actual letter he arranges a place of honor for in his shrine, and invites all members of the Schools Cult for a shared worship just outside the school grounds for this merry occasion.
Founding a village : The Pater vetos any decision concerning a village right now. no village on the school ground for at least four full years.
Another Personal action :
coming soon...

- Mica sees no reason to prevent the students from praying in the privacy of their dorm rooms, as long as they do not disturb the other students.
- No one have ever suffered from a little bit of water, but this is getting ridiculous. Have a talk with Pater, the rain avoid him so he obviously know something.
- None of the sponsorships are particularly attractive.
- Regarding the rulebook: Once again warn Amaya that this folly will only end with disaster.
- Eyetooth is rather ambivalent about the founding of a village. And chooses not to partake in that decision.
- Put the damnable clock in a soundproofed wooden box, take it out for exams but otherwise keep it where it won't drive me nuts.

Lacking any strong opinion on the presented topics, and still facing residual bitterness from the outcomes of the previous, Lady Amaya devotes herself to absorbing mana from the well and keeping an eye out for future problems on their way.

(I assumed everyone would rather I switched back to posting turns in the forum rather than taking an extra day or so to format them. The "Current Turn" and "Students" pages on the site have been updated and should be current)
Turn 7 - Summer Break
Reply from Italy The letter from Marcus the Italian Prince does little to sway any of the founders; indeed it seems to drive them even further into their separate corners. Sir Alter is livid, Pater perturbed, Mica unrattled, Gabriel contemptuous, Atticus up in arms, Amaya severe and unreadable. None of them imagine for a minute that they will come to a consensus with the others; Avalon School makes no official response to the letter (despite Atticus’ mumbled threats to “sit down and have an intimidating talk with the King of Italy.”)
Callistria The founders unanimously allow the Cult of Avalon to pray in their rooms, which the religious students do with great aplomb. They even rotate whose room they pray in nightly, so as not to be too annoying to neighboring dorm rooms. Those dorms are always free of the rain, so the Cult even gains a few new members by students taking shelter from the endless rain.
Gabriel and Mica decide that the endless rains have gone on far enough. Together they confront Pater, demanding and entreating that he do something to allay Callistria’s vengeance. With some difficulty Pater is able to convince them that he can not change the goddess’ plans, and wouldn’t even if he could.
For the amount of time and effort it takes to create, true consecration is incredibly easy to marr and remove. Gabriel is able to destroy the consecrated area in Pater’s rooms before the unfortunate man is able to stop him. The rains slowly begin falling into the Sorcerer’s Tower, as whatever kept them away slowly dissolves.
Pater is naturally distraught, but Gabriel is sure that this will remove the influence of “The Divine Bitch” from the campus.
Sponsors The Founders review the offered sponsorships very carefully, using a small supply of magics to check for traps or tricky wording. Neither Matron Gartland Golem Corp, Backlebrush Village, nor The Circean Triumvirate seem to employ any Fae to write their proposed contracts, and the language seems straightforward.
Backlebrush Village’s offer is accepted, and starting in the Fall semester all Avalon correspondence will bear the emblem “Sponsored by Backlebrush Village”
The Circean Triumvirate’s offer is refused.
There is much debate on whether or not to accept Matron Gartland Golem Corp’s offer. While the school at large refuses, Sir Alter has personally accepted. Much like Lady Amaya’s distinct guidelines which allow certain students into Avalon, any Golem from Matron Gartland Golem Corp is given automatic entrance under Sir Alter’s go-ahead.
The Wards A typical wizard would have stopped working on the wards as soon as they crackled and sparked with magical energy that protected against all magic.
A good wizard would have provided physical protections as well, perhaps an army of fire-breathing gargoyles.
Alter is a great wizard.
The monumental danger of building his latest round of protections didn’t seem to phase him whatsoever, happily tinkering away with a system that contained enough magical energy to level several buildings. When he is done the wards are so powerful that the biggest glyphs are actually visible, translucently floating far above the school in a sphere. The glyphs that are visible are the ones which warn and protect against the greatest of things; Gods, Ancients, Eldritchs and Pommybunnies.
The final semester of the first year proceeds much smoother, perhaps due to the combination of the new Fae rulebook and the heightened instruments and methods the Founders now use to keep an eye on their students.
On the other hand, it may well be that the student body is just too busy preparing for the first final exams of Avalon. Given the sheer amount of difficulties facing the Founders over their tumultuous first year, the final exams go off perfectly. The staff is competent and organized, the students serious (if a bit stressed), and according to Mica’s device not a single instance of cheating took place.
The Avalon grounds seem quiet when the students leave for summer break. The only students who still remain are three of Amaya’s Brights, who alone seemed to have realized that their position in the Bright hierarchy will be quite enhanced by staying at Avalon year-round.
Summer vacation stretches ahead, but it’s not all relaxing wizard-mojitos and laying on the Avalon beaches. There are certain decisions to be made for the summer break:
The Village (all founders except Pater) Ever since Gabriel made the offer public, the world at large has known that the Founders were interested in allowing a village to form on Avalon island. With the absence of their students, they can finally review the offers they’ve received, although Pater abstains, being against the whole idea.
New Transom Golem Corp has offered to open a branch on Avalon. While they’re very used to physical labor and quite willing to contribute to Avalon, New Transom as a commune does not use money, and therefore would not be contributing gold.
Guiberto Colona, a Duke of Italy, has offered to bring his summer court to Avalon and take up permanent residence there. He has enough workers to build a small village, and enough in his court to fill it. He only asks that he be allowed six months to settle in before beginning to pay Avalon in work and gold. Your-Child’s-Soul-Is-Screaming-Oh-God-Oh-God-Make-The-Screaming-End, a Princess of the Court of Dripping Walls, has offered to move her entire court to Avalon, working with the school in any way they’d like to provide them work and gold. She merely mentions that she would have to make a few tiny little changes to the land the village will rest on. The changes will not affect any land beneath the school, but by “tiny” she actually means “extensive”.
Happybringer Cutiesmile has also made an offer to set up a village on Avalon Island. Her exact position in the Autumn Court is too complicated to explain, but she *does* have the authority to move enough people and supplies to the island to set up a village. Apparently several of the Autumn Court are quite excited at the prospect.
[_] Take Guiberto Colona’s offer [_] Take Your-Child’s-Soul-Is-Screaming-Oh-God-Oh-God-Make-The-Screaming-End’s offer [_] Take Happybringer Cutiesmile’s offer [_] Refuse all offers [_] Write-in
Return of Regina (all founders) Everyone’s favorite magical tome hunter has returned, although she seems subdued and cagey. Though she is physically able to speak, she responds only in short sentences. She brings a single book, “50 Little Tricks for Improving Security”. The cover is tied shut with rope. Regina alternates between trying to convince the Founders to take the book and begging them not to. She is charging 10 gold pieces.
[_] Buy “50 Little Tricks for Improving Security” for 10gp [_] Do not buy “50 Little Tricks for Improving Security”, sending Regina off to sell it elsewhere [_] Write-in
Merchant offers (all founders) Word has circulated for some time about the availability of space for a merchant in the small shop that Mica build on Avalon’s campus. Now that summer break has arrived, offers begin to trickle in on renting the space for the year.
A Golem named Yasma has a small apothecary he would like to open, with study aids and focus potions. A Goblin named SssssK would like to set up a cafe with little study tables and serve teas and other species-specific delicacies. A Fae named Tricklewater Sunshine would like to open a small loan office to help students who would like to have a little extra money in the semester. A Human named John Strotham would like to start a small bookstore to sell, rent, and buy used textbooks, magic books, and the like.
[_] Rent the space to Yasma [_] Rent the space to SssssK [_] Rent the space to Sunshine [_] Rent the space to Strotham [_] Refuse all offers [_] Write-in
Heartstone Options (all founders) Gabriel Tempest has harnessed his research and his magic, combining it with the power that streams from the Mana Well and is collected within the perimeter, condensing the swirling eddies of potential into a pure and crystalline form. The Heartstone looks like a ball of glass that is white hot and on the verge of melting, although it is quite cool to the touch. At the moment it is a ball of potential, but with a concerted effort by all of the Founders, they will be able to imbue it with certain abilities (Founders must come to a unanimous decision for this vote. No write-ins allowed)
[_] Imbue the Heartstone with Creation Magics [_] Imbue the Heartstone with Mind Magics [_] Imbue the Heartstone with Alchemic Magics [_] Imbue the Heartstone with Natural Magics [_] Let the Heartstone cool and form on its own (Default if a unanimous decision is not reached)
The Complaint (all founders) The Founders didn’t even know there were official channels by which a student could lodge a formal complaint and request for investigation, but apparently there are by the Fae King’s Avalon Code of Conduct, and the Studystorms have found it. The complaint is polite and official, laying out the situation clearly: it seems some student has enacted a hex on every member of the Studystorms.
“The hex is clearly intended as a prank, as it inflicts pain in a rather sensitive region at random times throughout our study sessions, but it proved extremely distracting during a very sensitive time in our studies. I hope we are not being too presumptuous when we ask for an investigation, but the Studystorms believe that their learning should be prioritized, and this prankster, skilled though he may be (none of us have been able to remove the hex) should be punished, if for no other reason than to reflect the potential loss of our grades.
[_] Refuse to honor the Studystorms’ complaint [_] Pretend to launch an investigation, do nothing [_] Launch an investigation [_] Release an official statement (write-in statement contents) [_] Write-in
Adjustments to Admission (all founders individually)
All of the interns have been busy, but summer break means it is time to begin accepting student applications. The interns approach the Founders en masse with roughly the same question phrased 12 different ways; what incoming student applications should be accepted?
(Gabriel, Pater, Atticus, Mica) [_] Leave the Admission Acceptance as it is [_] Write-in changes
(Alter) [_] Leave the Tievel Admission (Admission Acceptance + any Matron Gartland Golem Corp applicants) as it is [_] Write-in changes
(Amaya) [_] Leave the Amaya Guidelines as they are [_] Write-in changes
The Challenge (Gabriel Only) It has been a long time since Gabriel was young enough to have a sex dream, so it catches him off-guard when his dream is suddenly heady with lust. A white room, two white chairs with a pristine chess board between them, Gabriel in one, and across from him the most beautiful woman he has ever seen.
“Most mortals at least give me a formal statement before they declare war on me,” Calistria’s voice is cool, but undercurrents of danger and venom and glorious pleasure inhabit each syllable. “I’d like to think that, as a goddess, I deserve that much. So tell me, Gabriel Tempest...” she indicates the chessboard in front of her as if inviting him to make a move, “is that what you wish to do? Make a declaration of war?”
[_] Write-in
The Price of Failure (Amaya Only) Summer has come, which means that Lady Amaya has a difficult decision ahead of her. Whether by her will or not, three of her students were expelled, and by the rule of her guidelines that means their regents must be paid. Amaya must decide on an appropriate tuition from the elementals Mari Iram and Gjertrud Durtreig, and the Italian Prince Marcus Kendal.
[_] Write-in
The Hum (Alter Only) The wards around the school are so complicated and complex that it is perhaps only Sir Alter who is intimately familiar with all of them. He is definitely the one best attuned to the recent addition of the Greater Sigils; wards which are so strong that they are visible, their giant ghostly runes hovering over the school. To the others, it merely feels like the hum of the perimeter and Mana Well are a little stronger than normal.
Alter realized that the hum is coming from the Greater Sigils. Specifically three of them: the Sigil of Deity marks the presence or attention of a God on Avalon, the Sigil of Ruin marks the focused attention (but not presence) of an Eldritch Being, and the Sigil of Fear marks the proximity (within 10-20 miles) of an Ancient near Avalon Island.
The sigils’ hum is indistinct and scattered. Sir Alter estimates that there is a 65% probability that the Sigils are merely misaligned.
There has never been a more worrisome 35%
[_] Write-in
Clever Students (Mica Only) In his wanderings around the school grounds, Mica Eyetooth has always enjoyed leaving riddles and puzzles around campus. To date, his cursory checks have found each of them undisturbed and apparently unnoticed. In the beginning of the year, a package is delivered to the school. It contains a tiny little book, filled entirely with a magical cipher that rearranges itself whenever one looks away.
It’s of course trivial for Eyetooth to decode, but it is an inventive idea. The book contains a careful log of a large portion of the riddles and hidden bits of interest that Mica has laid around the school, the work shown in meticulous detail. Most of them are even worked out correctly (although the authors seems to have a habit of assuming a more showy answer where a simpler one would’ve sufficed). The authors close the book with a thank-you for providing them with a much-needed diversion from finals. They also ask for corrections, since they’re sure they must have gotten some wrong. The book is signed “The Hedera”
[_] Write-in
Being Well (Atticus Only)
The Wellbeings continue following at Atticus’ heels throughout the summer, but begin to grow wistful. With a little pressing, Atticus is able to discover why in a private discussion with Wellizabeth: they all unanimously want to officially attend Avalon, but don’t know how to apply.
[_] Write-in
Charging Up (Amaya Only)
Lady Amaya has taken to absorbing a store of magical energy from the Mana Well every evening, to the consternation of all. It's clear she's gearing up for something large-scale, and it's also clear that if she doesn't unleash all of that magical energy soon, something terrible might happen.

Due to the reaction of the divine bitch gabriel has decided that he needs to get in shape for the coming contest. He goes down to the well and opens his channels, starting to absorb the ambient mana in the air, doing this for too long could be dangerous but Gabriel knows his limits. It takes two days to restore his energies, it is rough and untamed compared to his naturally replenishing mana but it should serve well enough to teach that slut a lesson. Who does she think she is disturbing the dreams of Gabriel tempest and tainting him with her lust. She will learn her place. Mortals rule now and rightly so. Divine, my arse. The dream-discussion between Gabriel and Callistria
Callistria seems to fight back a smile, like a mother amused by her child but forced to maintain a guise of severity. Her attention appears focused on the chessboard in front of her, and she moves a pawn forward. It is worth noting that she moves first, despite the fact that her pieces are black. "I am a guest, am I? I must admit I hadn't thought of it in that way; beings like I are much more apt to see mortals as guests visiting our planet. That doesn't make you a very good host then, placing censure on my children, destroying my consecrated land."
"I didn't invite you. You were brought in by a different guest that betrayed our trust."
"One could argue the same for you little human. Your mother brought you into the world which is my house, and here you are wiping your muddy feet everywhere, disrespecting my servants and mouthing off to my friends"
"You could argue many things, that doesn't make them true. The facts stand that this is my house, mine. Now you can respect the laws of hospitality, honestly, none of that divine crap, you can leave peacefully or we can go a few rounds. Oh and cut out the dream lust, you couldn't pay me to put it in you"
Gabriel picks up the board and throws it away, smiling at her "Those are your options. Decide now."
Callistria throws her head back and laughs, long and clear, a sound which more mortals than one have died to hear. The waves of lust subside, but the laughter continues, as if it has been a long time since she's been able to laugh. "Oh I like you, young one!" She finally says, clapping her hands. "What a delightful entertainment you provide!" She tilts her head to one side, watching him for a moment like a cat might watch a bird it is considering playing with. "It has been a very long while since I've manifested an Avatar," she muses aloud, "and I have been missing sex as a mortal. Yes...yes I think I'll accept your offer. Let's you and I 'go a few rounds' little Gabby. I quite enjoy the prospect of meeting someone who can make me 'lick my wounds', it hasn't happened since...oh since before you were born. By 'you' I mean 'the human race', of course."
She rises from the chair with dignity, a genuine smile on her face. The dream begins to shift as Gabriel slowly wakes up, but he has time to see her blow him a kiss and whisper:
"Until the first day of classes then. Goodbye, Professor Tempest."

The Village:
Purpose of the village is to raise money so the golem's are out as tenants. A Duke of Italy could very likely be a spy for Kendal so he's out. Alter does not like the idea of a faerie village on the grounds either. The outsider's requirements are worrisome, what are the changes she will need to make? Inquire further as to the exact nature of the changes. If they are going to be a problem for the school he will have to insist on the offer being denied. In that case he would argue for accepting the offer of the Italian, if only to keep an eye on him for any treachery as well as drain the italian coffers as much as possible.
Regina:
Her dual opinion is worrisome and to be honest he thinks that anything that could be done with the security has already been done. Enlist the help of the other founders to quiz Regina and determine where she obtained the volume and in what circumstances. Additionally, try and detect if the tome has some sort of spell or curse attached to/associated with it. If it is safe to do so, buy the book but only to keep it for further study, likely stored in the vault for the time being.
Merchant Offers:
Alter informs the other founders that he will support either SssssK and his cafe or Strotham's book dealership.
Heartstone:
With recent events Alter makes known his desire to veto imbuing the stone with Mind Magics. The argument over the Alchemical tome also ensures his negative opinion of that branch of magic. That leaves creation and natural magics, he is worried that creation magic could be too chaotic for the school environment. Therefore he agrees - grudgingly - with Gabriel, that the Heartstone should be imbued with Natural Magic, perhaps it will aid in the growth of the forest and streamlining the natural course of mana in the grounds to be more efficient.
The Complaint:
Alter knows that an investigation should be fairly simple with the myriad surveillance spells he has in place. Besides, he's fond of the fact that the studystorms appear to bother Gabriel - if indirectly - and wants to help them. He meets with the complainant and assures them that he will investigate the matter as soon as time allows. He asks for them to provide him with as much information as possible to aid his hunt.
Admission:
Expand Guidelines to allow outsider students to join standard classes with his sponsorship. Fae still have the additional clause in their geas.
The Hum:
'That's not a good sound.' He discounts the Sigil of Deity, he knows that Calistria has her rather attractive eye on the school. The Sigils of Ruin and Fear are more disturbing. He checks the alignment hoping it is merely magical feedback but knowing in his heart that it is likely a much more serious issue. He warns the council of the possible danger before checking the alignment.
Additional Actions:
Aid Pater in his efforts to restore some sense of order to his deconsecrated rooms. Check in with his interns regarding the list of tomes and reference materials on ancient powers and terrors he requested they try to track down. He'd like to start reading up on the topic as soon as possible so that when his magic is replenished to a satisfactory degree he can start work on specialised defenses.

[X] Take Guiberto Colona’s offer, however ask Alter to put security wards in the area where it will be build. [X] Rent the space to SssssK and Strotham, split the area between the two of them. With Strotham he is to be under strict guidance to make sure any magic books are not so powerful as to threaten the school. [X] Scan the Regina's book for any malicious magicks before deciding. If there is any harmful or otherwise malignant magicks in the book reject her. Buy the book if the magicks are helpful. [X] Imbue the Heartstone with Natural Magics [X] Pretend to launch an investigation [X] Write-in changes admissions. Opposed to becoming a student unless under the full rule of fairy law. Allow creatures born of magic on school grounds to attend if they wish. [X] Ask the other founders of their opinion. Atticus wishes for them to attend, if they cannot leave then they will learn as students who can leave can.

Make sure Mr. Large Intestine isn't a spy for the spoiled brat and his parents, even should it be the case, we will be able to regulate what kind of information gets to them. [X] Take Guiberto Colona’s offer. Check if Regina's little trinket actually contains information on magic, and isn't just some enchanted book with bite. If it does contain useful information : [X] Buy “50 Little Tricks for Improving Security” for 10gp. This seems like least bad option. [X] Rent the space to SssssK. Observing what kind of magic will potentially emerge should we let it find itself will be darn interesting indeed. [X] Let the Heartstone cool and form on its own. Investigate exactly who is behind the curse, finding out might prove useful. [X] Launch an investigation. If the Studystorms really is that studious it is rather interesting why they have not come up with an effective counter for the curse, or even a way to dismiss it. Adjustments to Admission Change an instance of the Admission Acceptance to include all beings, even Outsiders, provided they possess magical potential, and is of age according to the Admission. Clever Students Construct a small statue of a Helix, placed in the Weir Woods. It is unremarkable, except for three things. On the side facing away from the school is a plague engraving simply stating the current year and season. Engraved in the fundament on which the Helix statue is placed is a sketching of the school grounds as they appear at the current year and season, except for a spot which is visible from Mica's office, which is marked with a Ø. The statue itself is enchanted with a nullification spell, which makes the Helix distinctly un-magical in any and all aspects. The Spot itself is completely unremarkable, nothing out of the ordinary is to be found there. However, worked into one of the many wards spread around the place is a simply query spell. The spell checks the spot for magical energies, this being Avalon, the output will of course be Yes: Magic present. Should someone manage to place a nullification spell that envelopes the spot, the query goes no, and a spell divines the identity of the caster. Then the identity is added to the plague on the Helix.

The Village Lady Amaya would be happy for any one of The Golems, The Outsiders, or The Italians to settle on Avalon island. She feels that having more than one group trying to settle is a bad idea. She is against allowing the Fae to settle on Avalon Island, as their brand of Lawful Chaos, and deal-making would add unnecessary complications to Lady Amaya's Pecking Order.
[x] Refuse Cutesmile's Offer -[x] Avoid Accepting more than one offer, if possible.
Return of Regina Sudden Ideological Swings? Changes in personality? Previous victim of cursed books? If Regina does not have some manner of enchantment upon her, the Lady would be most surprised. The easiest way to cure someone cursed by an item is often to remove the cursed item itself, and so in interest of having a more effective Seeker, Lady Amaya wishes to purchase the book.
And not at all because the Lady wants to examine it, no, we should buy it for Regina’s sake, totally, yep.
[x] Buy “50 Little Tricks for Improving Security” for 10gp
Merchant offers The Lady Amaya views the potential merchants in the position of applicants trying to rent a room, and personally disregards what they plan to do with it as unimportant so long as the room is not made less valuable by their actions. The merchants could run an opium den as far as she is concerned, and so long as there is no damage to the room and they can pay rent, she will be unbothered. As such, The lady wishes to rent the room to whoever can promise the highest bid. Anybody else will have to run their businesses out of stands or dorm rooms, to which the same, 'do no harm' rule naturally applies.
[x] If the other founders cannot come to a decision, choose whoever can promise a higher return.
Heartstone Options Magic without a guiding hand can be worse than even the most devious curses, and (after hearing out the discussion of the other founders) Lady Amaya is convinced Natural Magic is the safest possible path.
[x] Imbue the Heartstone with Natural Magics
The Complaint Lady Amaya makes a show of publicly dismissing the Studystorm's complaint.
On a completely Unrelated note, Lady Amaya Will be offering an extra Study session over the next semester for any who are willing to attend, focussing on tracking down the sources of curses, and removal, reversal, or ironic punishment therof.
[x] Lady Amaya is unwilling to track down the prankster, for the Studystorms. -[x] Lady Amaya is more than willing, downright ecstatic some would say, to help the Studystorms (and any other students) learn what they need to track down their own problems.
Admission Adjustments Starting Next Semester (not this one) The top three students in Lady Amaya's Course will be made into a student council, as her eyes-on-the-ground. They will report to the Lady any interesting events, and propose changes to the running of the brights, to be approved or dismissed by Lady Amaya.
[x] Changes To Amaya's Course -[x] Starting next semester --[x] Overpowered Student Council Go!
The Price of Failure "Mari," Lady Amaya does not bother to look up as the door to her office inches open, instead rambling on even as she mashes some herbs together in a small bowl. "Come in, I've been expecting you. Gjertrud was by earlier, I'm glad you two decided to be prompt, not like Marcus who still hasn't even responded to my letter. I think I'll take his sight or his nobility, that regal disregard for rules just irks me." When she finally finishes her grinding, pouring the powder into a small bottle, and looking up, Amaya finds Mari standing by the door. Mari is completely still, but only a fool would mistake that for serenity. The tiny clusters of kelp and sand that would normally drift slowly through Mari's body are unmoving in the lack of internal current, as Mari sinks even further into herself.
"Oh no don't worry," The Lady is quick to reassure, "You showed up promptly and didn't even try to run, I'm not going to take anything big like with Marcus. You won't even feel a thing!" The Lady stands, and presses a bottle into Mari's hands even as the elemental begins to shrink into herself. "Drink that, lay whichever arm starts feeling cold across the desk, and this will all be over quickly."
True to her word, the rest of the meeting passes in a rush, Mari's lower left arm grows cold, then grows numb. The Lady Uses a tiny pair of carved tongs to pull a few shards of faintly glowing ice, then passes over a second bottle.
"As soon as you start to feel that arm again, drink that." The Lady drops the shards into a box on her desk, closing it up and reactivating the cooling sigils in a pulse of magic. "There shouldn't even be a mark, and Mari? Don't worry too much about failing, a lot more people are going to fail as time passes. Go home, do some self-study of what you learned here, figure out where you went wrong, then reapply to the other course. You have potential, even if it wasn't enough to see you through."
Mari nods, her internal current slowly speeding back to normal levels as she stands to leave. "Oh," the Lady calls out as Mari reaches the door, "If you tell anyone what I said I will deny everything, but good luck."
[x] From the Elementals, Shards of the Sea, frozen for ease of storage [x] From Marcus, Something much bigger and less harmless, to be determined whenever The Lady has cause to track him down.
A Mirror The Permits regarding the magical expansion of Avalon were not written by a Fae, so although it is clear that the intent behind the permit only covered expansion within the three base physical dimensions, strictly speaking, it also permits the Lady to take a somewhat more drastic step.
Common thought holds that there are a finite but exceedingly large number of 'planes', all stacked one on top of the other, going from the Garden, (where no sapient life is permitted and nothing that enters ever returns), all the way out to the Outside, (where the ironclad laws of reality warp and shatter.) The Common Plane, which is home to many Sapient Races Lies just a few hundred planes 'Out' of the Garden, and is bordered on the inside by the Dreaming (A chaotic world shaped into temporary coherency only by the minds of those that enter), and on the Outside by Underhill (Colonized almost exclusively by fae, scholars debate whether they originated there or emigrated.) Common thought holds that you must travel through one of those worlds to move further 'inside' or 'outside.' Common thought is wrong.
Through her long conversations with Atticus, about how the Outside stretches around and touches everything, and how reality looks when viewed from a thousand perspectives from a single point, The Lady has learned that the planes are not a strict line from Garden to Outside, but more like a big ball of wibbly, wobbley, Planey-Waney, stuff.
Okay maybe she still doesn't understand it as well as she had hoped.
The Lady moves to a secluded and pillowed alcove in the corner of her chambers and flops down onto the cushions, twisting around at get comfortable before casting her mind out to the border of the world. She reaches out a strand of magic, and strums on the energy that borders this reality, observing the path the vibrations take, and the not-memories of the planes it is interacting with. The Base Dimensional coordinates never change, always centred on where Avalon Island is in the common plane, but the varied permutations of the dimensional space are staggering. The Lady has spent the last two weeks strumming the barrier and harvesting images, but three days ago, she finally found an acceptable target.
She savours the not-memory of an Alter-realm Avalon island, covered in briars and woodland, untouched by civilization, and she lets loose the a basic hedge wizard's spell, overcharged to slide across the dimensional barrier. It lands right where her office would sit, and begins to chime out. It repeats a single message into the minds of any creature or being that enters it's range, a message that needs no words, that even the most basic of beasts can understand. The Lady hears the first chime, even as her vision begins to fade to black and her mind gets roughly pulled back into her body from the magical overexertion.
'This island is now my territory.'

Callistria
Naturally, the Pater is not that amused about his consecrated land being spoiled. But he joined the school as a teacher, and thus he will not directly act against a member of the Schools staff. He restores his rooms back to a semblance of order, then creates a Shrine, about the same size as the consecrated ground was, for "his personal worship" of Calistria, which the school offically allowed.
Return of Regina
Buy the book, it might be usefull for the next time mr tempest wants to disturb a staffmembers room.
Merchant offers
Rent the space to SssssK. Veto any plans to bring in the fae loan office.
Heartstone Options
Let the Heartstone cool and form on its own
The Complaint
Volunteer to investigate, and thus let the investigation run dry. If one of the others volunteers to investigate too, work with him or her together to cover the tracks
Admission
Leave the Admission Acceptance as it is
