Background: His parents and baby sister (Anika) died when he was very young as a result of random gang violence. He grew up on the streets, fending for himself, often resorting to petty crime in order to survive. This led to him becoming very quick and stealthy if fairly malnourished at times.
Despite - or perhaps due to - the hardships he has faced he is quite practically intelligent, though prone to take risks when the possible reward is great enough. (Greed triumphs over common sense)
Trigger: One day he ventured too close to the territory of a local street gang while searching for food, they beat him around, knocking him into near-unconsciousness and threw him in the river. Still mostly unconscious he slowly sank to the bottom, manifesting as his lungs filled with water and he slowly drowned, too dazed to swim to the surface.
Post Trigger: Suddenly he could breathe. His mind cleared and anger welled up in him. He felt his body… change. The pain was still there but he had options now. He sprang from the water, feeling his body extend, lashing out towards the gang members, wrapping his body around them. The pain he had been feeling started to stop, but the gang members he was enveloping were screaming. Revenge was sweet.
His black, liquid form made finding food easy. Eventually he moved on to bigger game, working as a mercenary, though he occasionally took jobs for the thrill alone.

Angels Grade 1: Some aspect of your power elevates it above and beyond other powers - a knack, a trick, something that makes it special DV + 20%
Nightmares:
Enemies Grade 1: Your power puts you at odds with most decent people, unless they know you very well (and even then, not always) DV + 10%
Shame Grade 1: Some part of your power actively violates a closely held, dear belief of yours, a standard, an ideal. DV + 50%
Powers:
Morphing 6: Your body shifts into a malleable, freely manipulated ooze form (mass preserved); though your head stays in its normal form. However, you no-longer need to breath and thus can move your head inside the centre of your body. He can absorb items into his ooze. (Form remains cohesive in water and most liquids).
Still feels pain and receives injuries but most vital organs - apart from head and brain - are morphed away and thus he is hard to kill (and the ones that aren’t are protected fairly well).
Perception 3: Security Sense. Can see the field of view of people and security systems (including beam field/matrix alarm detectors). Knows when someone/something is aware of him and can instinctively move into a blind-spot. Can tell the likely target (part of body etc.) of an attack by where the attacker is focusing.
Protection/Damage 3: While morphed he can trap someone in his ooze body, slowly transferring his injuries and pains to their body, healing himself.
Grade 2 Derangement: Major issues and obsessions, but still within what normal humans can experience
Kleptomaniac. Walks/oozes through a room and things go missing. Steals merely because he can.
