How long has Paladin been an Metahuman and how long has he been a superhero. White Kitsune became a vigilante in-game two weeks ago while Beowulf has only been publicly active for the last week.
By the way, does White Kitsune's parents know about his manifestation and heroism yet? If they do, how did they respond to the news?

They do know now. They where quite shocked that their son led a double life right under their nose, they grounded him for a little while, not that he noticed much. But a Hero career is pretty prestigious even if it's unconventionnal, so they allowed him to join the UH knowing they don't allow junior heroes to take too much risks.

Paladin manifested a year ago, but hasn't done many heroic things outside of training (and thus hasn't leveled up the Star Forge). He has taken all the requisite courses and training to become a fully qualified hero, a couple months ago.

Beowulf is probably the most experienced metahuman in Einn's Burrow then since while he hasn't had much field experience, he has self-trained and have to survive two years unnoticed in Grendel in town (Grendel's gang numbered forty members from about a year ago up until the Brocks manifested).

despite that, all Paladin does is train and patrol. He doesn't really have a life outside the UH. He's kinda obsessed with stopping evil.

So I say that Paladin and Beowulf are pretty much equal in skill with Paladin being better at teamwork stuff while Beowulf is better at survival and operating independently.

Yeah pretty much. But Paladin can spend more time (legally speaking) training because he's done with school while Beowulf will get in trouble for skipping it.

Out of curiosity, what are Paladin's feelings on being called Pally by Beowulf? I know that Paladin doesn't show any reaction, but out-of-game I have been wondering what he actually feels about it.

*** He doesn't really care. As long as Beowulf is doing his job and everyone's following the rules and not breaking the law then he's a pretty nice/fun guy. ***

Paladin thinks breaking most rules is the first step to evil doing. He's got one exception though; killing/torturing the truly evil he's fine with.

Paladin and Beowulf may end up at odds then. Beowulf isn't the best at following the rules would be an understatement. He doesn't follow his own personal rules just fine, but for him, following the normal rules would have gotten him killed by Grendel a long time ago.

I would also like to note that Beowulf's personality is very different from my own and that I'm simply playing him in-character, not to try and cause friction with the players.

Oh yeah, ditto with Paladin. I don't really care that much about rules, but he does and he would flip out over Beowulfs shit right now.

So more about the purefire. I was gonna give Paladin a perception ability that allowed him to determine people's crimes and guilt and evil and stuff, but I thought it would be more fun if he had to figure t out himself.
